Immersive Virtual Reality Experiences in Richmond, VA

This was our first experience with VR and Pelagos VR did not disappoint. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable - our group had a fantastic time - definitely check them out!

Let me tell you!! My family and I had a blast! We put an end to the zombies once and for all and survived to play another day. Katy aka Godmother painted the best experience before we put on our VR Gear. Do yourself a favor and come have fun!

Went late Friday night because wanted to take my younger brother out for his birthday. He had tried the other VR place, zero latency and had a good time. I thought this place was cool because of the walking pads. I ended up calling the place to see if they had any opening. Collin picked up the phone and explained all their experiences to me. I came in and he was extremely kind and helpful to me and my brother. He even gave my brother warm cookies for his birthday. He setup the experience and answered all questions we had. He gave us extra time to play, allowed us to switch games, and helped us when we got uncomfortable in the vr. He showed us around the building which was awesome. The style we did was difficult, but still great. Walking wasn’t as intuitive as I thought in the games. The in person shooting games seem really fun though and I’ll have to try that out. If you have the option, go for one of the larger rooms as opposed to the harness we did, but everything was amazing, especially the support from Collin

You might drive past it like I did and think, “oh… just another gaming place.”Absolutely not.I don’t play video games. Like… at all. And somehow, I walked out of there completely hooked.My daughter and I originally signed up for one game in the back room. My boyfriend joined last minute… and by the time we finished? We didn’t even hesitate. We booked our next experience THAT SAME NIGHT. That’s how fast it went from “let’s try this” to “we need more.”Now let me add something important…I am a HUGE germaphobe. And my daughter already has a VR at home, so I wasn’t easily impressed.But THIS place?They take cleanliness seriously. I’m talking UV lights, wipes, and multiple sanitization methods to make sure everything is top tier clean. And trust me… it needs to be because this is a FULL. BODY. WORKOUT. 😅Pro tips:Wear comfortable clothes.Drink plenty of water.…unless you’re playing the zombie game and have a weak bladder, then maybe hydrate after because survival instincts get REAL in there 😂If you want to laugh until your stomach hurts…If you need something DIFFERENT to do…If you’re tired of the same old date nights or outings…This is it.Even if you’re not playing, just being there is an experience. Watching everyone else, the reactions, the energy… it’s entertainment on its own.And let’s not skip over this part:Great food. Great drinks. And prices that don’t make you question your life choices after having fun.The staff? 10/10. From the first phone call to check-in, to guiding you through the games… they don’t just work there, they elevate the entire experience. They’re part of the fun.The best way I can describe it?It felt like stepping into Ready Player One meets Resident Evil with a splash of Nickelodeon Guts and Tekken energy. Pure adrenaline, nostalgia, and chaos in the best way.There is literally something for everyone… even virtual escape rooms.Honestly? I still feel like I’m underselling it.Just GO. You’ll understand the second you step inside the game.

Would not recommend the Virtualizer if you easily get carsick. Otherwise, the staff are personable and explain things well and the drinks aren't half bad either.

A party of 4 mid 60s adults had a blast at the escape room. We were new to the vr escape room experience but the owner was our personal guide and he explained everything and we found ourselves easily slipping into the world of dragons and castles. The facility was spotless, the equipment sanitized after each use, they had lockers for our personal effects. We are gonna go back and be more adventurous and try killing some zombies.

5 star experience! I had my son’s 15th Birthday celebration there this past weekend and it was awesome. His friends had an amazing time with him on his special day. We got to enjoy the virtual high action arena, the escape room, and the limitless roam vr. Joan and her family, as well as the staff just went above and beyond and we’ll be returning for sure.

This was a great experience ! Everything seemed so real. Really had to use brain power and got a great workout at the same time. They offer a different variety of themes and games. And even different levels . We had a great time and will be back real soon!!

Four of us came here for a birthday celebration, and we had an absolute blast! The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions on the game and how to use the gear, which made the whole experience stress-free. The visuals were stunning and way more immersive than we expected. Whay a great experience! Went today and may I say all of the staff were the friendliest bunch I've encountered in a while. The atmosphere and inside was really nice. The graffics were nice and they even record for you while your in it. Will definitely be going back!

first time here and checked out one of the vr escape rooms, genuinely so much fun and the vr was amazing. staff was so welcoming and gave a tour of the place and background on all of their different vr setups and helped us choose a game that would be perfect for us. definitely check it out one of the best places in richmond if you’re looking for something new and fun with so much to offer

My wife and I had such a fun time at Pelagos! Just wow. The arena battle with the guns felt so real, and we were laughing and yelling and just having an absolute blast. Mind blowing fun. And the happy hour is ridiculously good/cheap for food and drinks!Even if you don’t want to play, there is plenty of space to relax with wine or a beer, and the owners and staff were so hospitable. They make Pelagos a very special experience. Bringing our work staff out soon for some team bonding!

Went for a corporate outing and had a phenomenal time. Having no previous VR experience, the Pelagos team brought us up to speed in no time and were great instructors. Our team LOVED it and will be telling the rest of the office to join us again!

Awesome experience, so many options and games to choose from, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and fun. The food was good and there was reasonable space to sit talk and recalibrate after playing a game until the next session. Google maps struggled a bit getting us there. But a quick search showed it right around the corner from footlocker. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back.

Just left and had an amazing time. This was our second visit. Tanner and Wren were amazing, helped us out when we got stuck a few time in play. We played Patient Zero and Lost City, both ZOMBIE KILLING GAMES. This was a date afternoon and our wife's loved it as much as the guys did. Don't be afraid. So much fun working as a team. We laugh so much as we worked our way through the maze. Lastly, if you like, the VR team will take pictures and share them with you.

Haven't done anything, but the tour is already amazing

My friends and I just went here this past weekend. We were greeted by Tanner who gave us a tour of the whole place. She explained the different games and rooms. There were so many choices and options it was overwhelming but in a good way. When we got to the big VR room and she went over the different games we knew where we wanted to go. Fight the zombies!!!!! My group was made of up people familiar with VR and some totally new to it. We all had a blast. The owner greeted us with glasses of water, you put in alot of steps while playing, great workout hahah!!! It was so much fun we wanted to go back right into it but we stopped at the bar got a few beers and relaxed before our next session. Our 2nd game was called Urban Assault where you can play 2 vs 2, where you play on top of various rooftops and try to shoot each other. Collin was great in helping us put on and take off the various equipment and showed us how to use the guns. Overall I recommend this gem of a place. Alot of fun for a great price. The whole staff was super nice! My wife who is not a gamer, VR fan cannot wait to go back. If you want to have a great time I definitely recommend stopping by and trying it out.
